Sidharth Malhotra confirms he’s SINGLE; is his breakup with Alia Bhatt for real?

So there have been quite few rumours about Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra’s break up doing the rounds on the internet right now. Where some say Sid’s closeness with his A Gentleman’ co-star Jacqueline Fernandez created a rift between the two. Many also believe things were just not going right between Sid and Alia over quite a few issues and that it was high time they ended their relationship and continue being just ‘good friends’. But little did we expect Sid would actually go up to announce he’s “Single” right during the time when the breakup rumours are already buzzing the internet. Yes! So this shocking confession happened on Neha Dhupia’s famous podcast show #NoFilterNeha. The moment Neha quizzed him about his relationship status, he said “I am…very much single!” In fact, he further also expressed his interest in making his own Tinder profile as he said, “If at all I had my bio it would say Sundar, Susheel and Risky. All Desis would understand and the firangs would ask me for the meaning. But I wouldn’t mind trying the app” Like obviously he said it in the jest of it but you know how he’s also dropping hints in between the lines. Does this mean it’s really ‘over’ between Sid and Alia?

Interestingly, when Neha later asked Sid to pick a celebrity who best describes “All good things come in small package”, he however didn’t think twice before naming Alia. Now we dunno what’s Sid’s current equation with Alia but we choose to believe he’s living up to the tag of being a “professional liar” as he had once said, “We’re professional liars so we convince people any which ways. I think we are in a profession where we have to make-believe and convince people.”
