Julie 2 teaser: South star Raai Laxmi goes BOLD for her debut in Bollywood as the lead

Raai Laxmi, who was earlier known as Laxmi Rai when she started her career in movies down South, is all set to make her debut as the leading lady in Bollywood with the long delayed Julie 2. But this is not her first movie in Bollywood, though. Earlier she has a supporting role in Sonakshi Sinha’s Akira, which was more of an extended cameo. However, Julie 2 would be her fully fledged role, and she is going bold to make sure maximum eye-balls are attracted.

Julie 2 is the sequel to 2004 movie, Julie that starred Neha Dhupia in the lead role along with Sanjay Kapoor, Yash Tonk and Priyanshu Chatterjee. The first movie made headlined for its bold kissing and lovemaking scenes (it was while promoting this movie, that Neha Dhupia had once said ‘Only sex and Shah Rukh Khan sells!’). Julie was directed by Deepak Shivdasani, who is now making the sequel. And going by the first teaser, he is carrying the tradition of ‘sex sells’ with the sequel. The teaser doesn’t give a proper glimpse of Raai Laxmi or her co-stars, but shows enough skin to let even the ignorant know what the movie is all about.
