What is Aditi Rao Hydari doing in Arshad Warsi and Amit Sadh’s Guddu Rangeela?
Aditi Rao Hydari began her career with unconventional roles in Delhi 6, Yeh Saali Zindagi and Rockstar, but she soon moved on to commercial cinema. The average success of her films Boss, Murder 3 and London, Paris , New York propelled her to take up more commercial projects. It seems now she has decided to do a mix of the two. In her upcoming commercial project Guddu Rangeela, she is all set to play an unconventional character.
Our khabroos inform us that Aditi will be playing a deaf and mute girl who hails from a small town nearby Chandigarh. Our little birdies also informed that Aditi underwent intense training to get the nuances of the character right. For this she also had hired a tutor who taught her the sign language. Amit Sadh, of Kai Po Che fame, will also be seen in the film alongside her. The film will be produced by Sangeeta Ahir under Fox Star Studios’ banner. Subhash Kapoor, who was recently slapped by upcoming heroine Geetika Tyagi on molestation charges, will be donning the directorial reigns for the project which will see Arshad Warsi play the lead character.
Now only time will tell whether she is able to do justice to a role so beautifully portrayed by Rani Mukherji in Black.
