Lara Dutta, happy birthday

Born on April 16, 1978, Lara Dutta was born to Wing Commander LK Dutta (retired), and Jennifer Dutta, in Ghaziabad. The dusky beauty from Bangalore made her movie debut in 2004 with Andaaz that co-starred Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra. Though the movie did average business at the box office, Lara bagged the Filmfare award for her performance in the category of Filmfare Best Female Debut Award.

After Andaaz the Miss Universe appeared in a series of successful films like Masti (2004), No Entry (2005), Kaal (2005), Bhagam Bhag (2006), Partner (2007), Housefull (2010) and Chalo Dilli (2011), which also marked her debut as a producer, under the banner Bheegi Basanti Entertainment.

In 2011 she got romantically involved with tennis-ace Mahesh Bhupathi. After marrying the tennis ace in 2012, Lara pushed the launch her production Bheegi Basanti, under which she successfully released her maiden venture titled Chalo Dilli. Later, she also acted in Farhan Akhtar’s Don 2 co-starring Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra.

Today, one of the hottest yummy mummies in B-town and a proud mother to a baby girl, Saira, the 36-year-old is enjoying motherhood to the hilt. We at BL are curious if Lara will make her scorching presence felt on the silver screen again. On her special day we wish the hottie a very happy birthday!
