Ajay Devgn begins shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Singham 2

A little birdie tells us that Ajay Devgn has started shooting for Singham 2. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Ajay is cast opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan in the sequel to Singham. We hear that the actor started shooting for the film a day before his birthday (April 2). We hear that the unit was shooting late into the night on April 1. Ajay Devgn was spotted in a police uniform at the Worli Fort. So what were they shooting, you ask? Reportedly, Devgn was shooting for an emotionally charged scene in which he had to yell at a woman, accusing her son of theft. Dayanand Shetty aka Daya in the popular TV show CID was also present on the location. He too plays a cop in Singham 2.

Co-produced by Ajay Devgn, Singham 2 is slated for release on August 15.
