Why did Tabu Refuse to play Priyanka Chopra’s mother?

Bollywood actress Tabu, is a versatile actress who has done many different roles in a 20 year career. So it comes as a surprise to know that she turned down a significant role in an upcoming film by Zoya Akhtar; as she didn’t want to play Priyanka Chopra’s mother in the film.

A report in a leading daily says Tabu (42) didn’t want to play Priyanka Chopra’s mother as she wasn’t comfortable playing the role of an older woman.

The actress was last seen as Salman Khan’s sister in Jai Ho. She will soon be seen in Vishal Bharadwaj’s film Haider.
