Varun Dhawan: I’ll never date an actress!

Shahid Kapoor had announced loud and clear on Koffee with Karan 4 that he has learned from his previous relationships that he should stay away from relationships with heroines. And guess what following Sasha is Karan Jaohar’s Student Of The Year actor Varun Dhawan. Dhawan Jr who has been linked with everyone from Alia Bhatt to Shraddha Kapoor and his co-star Nargis Fakhri doesn’t want to date a heroine!Varun will be romancing two beauties, Ileana D’Cruz and Nargis Fakhri on reel, but real life will never be the same. The actor said, “I know we are in a profession where our personal life is always in the limelight. All I would like to say is that I would never date an actress.”

After a successful debut with Karan Johar directed SOTY, Varun teamed up with his father and successful director David Dhawan for his second venture. The senior Dhawan known, for making blockbusters like Aankhen, Hero No 1, Coolie No 1 and Biwi No 1, went through a bad patch in his career. Recalling David’s downfall, Varun, 26, said: “I remember there was a time when my father’s films didn’t do well and caused his downfall, and we faced financial crisis.” During the trying times, the family used to “pray that his film does well. It was very scary and we used to be very nervous at that point of time.”

Varun is currently busy promoting Main Tera Hero, a remake of Telugu movie Kandireega. Produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, it will come out April 4.
