Kangana Ranaut: My role in Queen was very challenging

Kangana Ranaut, who appeared in the movie Queen, says her role in the film was very challenging and is her best work so far. “My role in Queen is very challenging and as an actor, I believe I have never done such good work in any film before. I haven’t got such a good opportunity before,” said the 26 year old actress.
The actress recently studied film-making in New York. Talking about that, she said “It was a unique experience to go back to school. I enjoyed sitting in the classroom, attending lectures, doing homework. I never had any formal education in acting. I understand the techniques of filmmaking but I wanted to understand it better.”
Her performance in Queen is being much appreciated; perhaps more than her National Award winning role in the 2008 film Fashion. Meanwhile, her Fashion co-star Priyanka Chopra will now be playing a politician in Fashion director Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming film Madam Jee.
Queen, directed by Vikas Bahl, stars Kangana Ranaut in the role of a girl who goes alone on a pre-planned honeymoon after being dumped by her fiance just two days before the wedding.
Vikas Bahl, who is a good friend of Shahid Kapoor, has reportedly roped in the Kamineyactor to be the lead actor in his next film. We hope it turns out to be as good as Queen.
