Amy Schumer Talks Body Image, Fires Back at Claims of Racial Insensitivity

Amy Schumer isn’t afraid to speak her mind.

Over the weekend, the comedian had to defend her not once, but twice. During a press conference for her new movie Trainwreck, Schumer spoke about her reputation for being candid about sexism in Hollywood.

When asked her thoughts on how her body image in Hollywood, she said

It’s very therapeutic for me to be like, ‘Yes, I’m not going to look like a malnourished bird,’ and I like speaking to that, as well as speaking to my work and what I’m doing.
