Nicki Minaj Shows Major Cleavage for GQ, Falls Asleep During Interview

like Cara Delevingne and Morgan Freeman before her, Nicki Minaj has, too, fallen asleep during an interview.
Though the rapper is baring all sorts of eye-popping cleavage in her latest spread with GQ magazine, her interview with the publication in its November 2014 issue suggests that the "Super Bass" emcee was doing everything but turning heads -- well, maybe expect her own -- when she started snoozing during her sit-down with a reporter.

Writer Taffy Brodesser-Anker explained in the accompanying article:

"To be completely accurate, she never fell into actual REM sleep during our interview, but at four separate times she dozed off, her head jerking awake at just the moment it had started to dip. In between, she was what I could call low-key and reserved, because I am generous, but the picture looked like this: those eyelids, falling, falling over eyes that would cross momentarily, closing for a moment but staying too long—a blink that lasted a few blinks longer than a blink."
However, when she wasn't asleep, Minaj did provide some insight to her much talked-about "Anaconda" music video -- like, the fact that the whole thing isn't supposed to be about butts.
"[My character] is just talking about two guys that she dated in the past and what they're good at and what they bought her and what they said to her. It's just cheeky, like a funny story," she said. "I just see the video as being a normal video. I think the video is about what girls do. Girls love being with other girls, and when you go back to us being younger, we would have slumber parties and we’d be dancing with our friends."

"I knew that I wanted a gym theme," she continued. "And that's that."
