Sonam Kapoor: My father doesn’t give importance to my relationships

Sonam Kapoor, whose filmBewakoofiyaan is releasing today, says her father is not possessive about her as far as her relationships go.

“He is pretty chilled out. He believes, I should be happy and joyous and should enjoy whatever I do. He knows how important my career is to me and wants me to be successful and be a better actor and do great films. He doesn’t give a lot of importance to my relationships,” Sonam said in an interview.

Sonam Kapoor, who shared screen space with Ranbir Kapoor in her first film, now shares screen with his father Rishi Kapoor. Talking about him, she says it is very easy to be friends with him. “You just have to feed him with good food and he is all yours. I would share my home cooked food with him,” said Sonam.

The cast of the film recently went on to the comedy show Comedy Nights with Kapil, to promote the film. Funnily enough, the actress was not aware of the show. To which Sonam quickly replies, “I don’t watch TV. That’s why I was not aware about the show. I should watch Television because it’s awesome. Whenever I get time I try to watch shows on my laptop.”
