Court lifts the ban on Madhuri-Juhi starrer Gulaab Gang

In the morning we had reported that Gulaab Gang was put on hold by the High Court as the movie was based on the life of Sampat Pal Devi who was an activist and the founder of Gulabi Gang, a group of pink sari clad women vigilantes of Uttar Pradesh. Pal had moved the High Court seeking a stay order on the film, alleging that the filmmakers did not take her permission and the movie shows her in a bad light. However, the matter has now been resolved.

As scheduled Gulaab Gang will be releasing alongside Queen and Total Siyapaa this Friday i.e, March 7th without any delay. With a huge hurdle behind them and a huge premier scheduled for this evening in Mumbai, the team Gulaab Gang will have double celebration
