After ‘Queen’, Kangana Ranaut to play a mother to a teenage girl in ‘Durga Rani Singh’!

After silencing critics with her stunning performance in Queen, Kangna Ranaut will play a mother to a teenage girl in her next flick which is titles ‘Durga Rani Singh’. It was earlier learnt that Vidya Balan was the first choice for the role, but some events took place and the director of the movie Sujoy Ghosh handed the role to reigning queen Kangna! Who gladly accepted the offer.
The actress who has recently celebrated her 27th birthday seems super excited to play the role of a mother. “I am very excited about the film. It’s a suspense thriller and beyond this I can’t reveal anything more now,” said Kangna.
Kangna was always known for doign roles which are unorthodox which can be assessed from hrt previous films and now will be seen as a 25 year old mother of a 14 year old paralytic girl in her upcoming movie Durga Rani Singh. We also would like to mention here that many other relatively veteran actresses lately rejected offers to play motherly roles and it is indeed a courageous step on the part of Kangna who is still in her 20s to play a mother in her next movie.
The bold and beautiful actress, Kangna who few days back revealed about her desire to date a UK based friend, is currently at the peak of her career with multiple movie offers. Sweet Kangna in Queen will also be seen in a rather ‘dabang’ avatar in her another upcoming flick Revolver Rani soon.
